Iceland: The Ring Road

In May 2023, at the end of my Erasmus semester in Reykjavík, I travelled around the Ring Road of Iceland, spending 8 days driving 2500km around the country, starting in Reykjavík before heading south, to Vík, then east to Höfn, north to Akureyri, and then to the remote Westfjords, before finally returning to Reykjavík.

The trip rounded off an incredible five months in Iceland, which remains the most unique and naturally beautiful country I have ever visited. Unfortunately, one roll of film was damaged, so my photos from the second half of the trip (Akureyri and the Westfjords) are lost forever. However, I still have a large collection of digital photos from the trip, which I may eventually incorporate into this gallery.
